Burns, a son of a farmer, published his first book of poems in 1786 and became a national celebrity. When he passed away ten years later, ten thousand people paid their respects at his funeral. As a pioneer of the Romantic Movement, he has developed something of a cult-life following over the last several centuries. Join us for a night of live music, poetry and art.
