We are thrilled to host Meet & Greet events with authors frequently in our bookstore. We also offer our space to larger groups for lectures or workshops after hours with prearrangement. If you would like us to consider a certain occasion, please e-mail an overview of the proposed event to Cynthia at firstname.lastname@example.org with several potential dates.
Some of the other functions we have hosted include art demonstrations, musical concerts, lunch time discussion groups, collaborative community events and private groups or parties.
The phrase “round table” conjures up images of King Arthur and his knights or the Algonquin Round Table; a group of forward-thinkers who sat together and exchanged ideas and insights.
Not to be confused with the legendary grandeur of King Arthur or the Algonquin; we have a round table of our own in the Secret Garden. And we also use it to gather around with small groups to exchange insights and foster community. Perhaps you have even had the chance to be a part of one of those groups, or have heard from someone who has.
It is important to us to provide a space, a container if you will, for co-creating. It’s a time for us to be receptive to others, to what is available for inspiration and support, from those both in and outside our circle. Our inaugural series is “Tea & Tarot with Wendy”. You can join us every 2nd Saturday for a cup of tea and a little insight.
We hope you will join us as we host round-table group readings the 2nd Saturday of every month from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. This RSVP-only group event will be a chance for you to get acquainted with Wendy and for her to connect with our community. Our intention for this series is to help us gain perspective, set a course for the rest of 2017 and refine your personal purpose. This is a ticketed session with a cost of $15 in advance and $20 the day of event. Your ticket includes tea and individual mini-sessions shared with the group. Space is limited so make sure to RSVP!
